Visiting a Disney theme park can be expensive! Hotel, park tickets, traveling to the parks, everything adds up! Then you need to add in the cost of food and drinks. When you save for a magical vacation, every penny counts. Vacationing at Disney means lots of walking and with that, lots of drinking (water!). Here are some of our best ways to save money on drinks while visiting the parks.

Grocery Delivery
Guests are allowed to bring their own food and drinks into the parks. Stock up on water and your favorite drinks (juice, soft drinks, etc) at your hotel. If you are visiting from out of town and you don’t have a vehicle, you can order your drinks through a food delivery service like Instacart or Amazon Prime. If you do have a vehicle, make a stop at a nearby grocery store and pick up the items. We like to stop by Walmart or Target the day we arrive to stock up on snacks and drinks. You can then keep the drinks in your hotel room fridge and take however many you want to the parks with you.
Refillable Water Bottles
If you don’t want to have to carry multiple bottles of water or drinks with you in the park, bring an insulated refillable water bottle with you. The parks have plenty of stations where guests can refill their water bottles. Or, if you want extra cold water, ask for ice water at just about any quick service location and it is free!
Don’t want to have to carry ANY kind of bottle around the parks with you? You can just stick with getting free ice water from the quick service restaurants.

Refillable Mug
When visiting Walt Disney World, purchasing the resort refillable mugs can be a money saver if you are a soda and/or coffee drinker. You can’t get free refills in the parks, but you can fill your mug for free at the resort in the morning and take it with you to the parks.
