Greta was very shy and very apprehensive about the world around her when she was born but in the last few weeks she has been exploring the world a lot more and being super playful.
She also loves to do barrel rolls in the water and bond with her family members, mom Tuma and her brothers. You can catch a glimpse of her during the Kilimanjaro Safari at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, so be sure to look out for her!

Want to know some fun facts about hippos? Did you know hippos sweat is actually pink? It appears this color when exposed to full sunlight, and it actually functions as a skin moisturizer, water repellent and antibiotic. Interesting right?
Hippos can also eat a whole watermelon in one bite due to their strong jaws! And are considered a dangerous animal despite their super cute appearance.
