Mickey’s Toontown at Disneyland will be reimagined into a vibrant symphony of sights, sounds, sensations and some new experiences for guests!
The area will be closing on March 9th, 2022 and reopening in 2023 with the new attraction Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway! But don’t worry, other favorite attractions like Roger Rabbit’s Car Toon Spin, Mickey’s and Minnie’s Houses will be back just like you remember them.
There will also be updates on other known attractions like Gadget’s Go Coaster, Goofy’s House and Donald’s Boat! We can’t wait to see what the imagineers have in mind for them!

Buckle up as you take a tour past the towering Cadillac Range through Radiator Springs! You may even see some of your favorite characters like Lightning McQueen and Mater along the way.
Animation Academy
Taste your drawing abilities at the Animation Academy! This building in Hollywood Land will teach you how to illustrate your own version of a beloved Disney character. Classes occur every 30 minutes.
