Have a Plan
Time is short but the fun list is long! Make a game plan and stick to it. Even though it’s a separate ticketed event, the park will be busy!
Dress Festive
Christmas jammies, holiday costumes, ugly sweaters-think of the fantastic photos you’ll get! Be sure to stop at all of the PhotoPass spots.
Don’t Show up Tired or Hungry
This is not the day to rope drop a theme park. Arrive energized and ready to go the distance! While cookies and sweets are plentiful, food items aren’t. Consider eating a solid meal before the party.
Arrive Early!
Party guests can, and should, enter Magic Kingdom as early as 4 pm. Use these hours to get your wristbands, and a party map, grab a bite to eat, and get in line to meet favorite characters who begin meeting BEFORE the party officially starts.
Join the Tron Virtual Queue at 6PM!
The ONLY way to ride Tron at the party is via a spot in the Virtual Queue. The opportunity for party goers opens at 6 pm!
Wait for Treats
Treat lines are consistently long early in the evening. If you can ignore your sweet tooth for a bit, you’ll spend less time waiting in line. They won’t run out of supplies!
The Party Trifecta Plan
The parade, stage show, and fireworks are all MUST SEES and are located in the same general area. To make the best use of your time (and maybe have lower crowds), snag a spot in the hub near Cinderella Castle for the fireworks (10 pm), stay put for the 10:35 pm stage show, then enjoy the 11 pm parade. You’ll still have some party time after the parade!
Character Meet & Greets
There are two parades and during each of them the line to meet Mickey Mouse in his holiday outfit at the Town Square Theater is fairly short. In fact, most character meet & greet lines are much shorter later in the evening.
Snowy Parade Viewing
If you want to watch the parade on Main Street and get covered in “snow”, you’ll want to secure a spot 45 minutes in advance. While the second parade can be less crowded, Main Street is still a popular viewing location. In front of Tony’s Town Square restaurant is a wonderful viewing area.
