Disney’s Boardwalk Inn is a Deluxe level hotel at the Walt Disney World Resort. Guests can experience the charm and whimsy of turn-of-the-century Atlantic City at this waterfront Resort hotel. Make a splash at Luna Park Pool and delight in a massage at the state-of-the-art fitness center. Discover carnival games, unique dining and exciting nightlife on the Coney Island-style boardwalk. There are so many wonderful reasons to stay here, but here are the top 5.
Location
The Boardwalk has the advantage of being near not one, but two parks! Epcot and Hollywood Studios are both walking distance from the resort, approximately less than 10 and 20 minutes, respectively. The walk to Epcot takes you to the entrance at the International Gateway and puts you right between France and the United Kingdom. While the walk to Hollywood Studios is longer, it is a relaxing and scenic walk along the lake that puts you right at the entrance of the park.
Dining Options
There are so many options for grabbing a bite to eat at the Boardwalk! The BoardWalk area alone has over ten dining options. Big River Grille & Brewing Works and ESPN Club are a couple of casual locations while Flying Fish and Trattoria al Forno are table service locations. Guests have access to all the restaurants at the neighboring resorts, Yacht Club and Beach Club, as well!
Pools
Guests can swim in a carnival-themed pool that is home to a 200-foot-long waterslide. Harkening back to an amusement park of the 1920s, the 184,217-gallon Luna Park Pool invites you to clown around in the water and make a splash under the spouting trunks of grinning elephant statues. For a more relaxing pool experience, there are 2 leisure pools at the resort as well.
Entertainment & Activities
There are so many activities to take advantage of at the Boardwalk! During the day, renting a Surrey Bike is a common sighting around the resort. Motorized Boats can also be rented at the Yacht Club across the way to be taken out onto the lake. The Boardwalk becomes magical at night. There is always something going on as the carnival games open and the boardwalk lights illuminate. There are several street performers that rotate most nights: magicians, jugglers, musicians, card tricks, and others that elicit crowd participation and free entertainment.
Room Options
The Boardwalk offers a mix of standard and water view rooms. Even a standard guest room can sleep up to 5 people. Deluxe rooms are also available and sleep up to 6. This makes it a perfect choice for larger families or guests who like some extra space!
