What Do the Refurbished Guest Rooms Look Like at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort?

Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort at Walt Disney World is in the process or refurbishing it’s rooms and they are beautiful! The resort itself is undergoing multiple enhancements, but I was able to stay in a newly renovated room on my last trip. Check out these photos I snapped while enjoying these luxurious accommodations.

Upgrades include lighting on each headboard, as well as overhead lighting and a fan, all on easy to access rocker switches. There are reading lamps that come out of the headboard for personal lighting and relaxation. The room has granite countertops on multiple surfaces, gorgeously laid laminate wood flooring, a miniature refrigerator, over six outlets, four USB ports, and a HUGE flatscreen television. The bathroom is a dream with a fully lit mirror, a backlit makeup mirror, assorted cabinets and storage shelving, a huge closet, sliding glass shower doors, and two shower heads.

This new upgrade still carries the Spanish Colonial theme throughout, with The Three Caballeros making up most of the artwork. So far, only the Ranchos section of the resort is being worked on and completed, but they are making great gains and hope to complete more sections very soon.

These are just some of the changes taking place at Coronado Springs as part of a larger refurbishment that includes the construction of a 15-story tower that will add 500 additional guestrooms to the property.  There will also be rooftop restaurant boasting fireworks viewing as well as new landscaping including floating gardens and an island oasis that connects the resort through a series of bridges. The convention center located on property is also being expanded.
