Tasty Eats at Walt Disney World & Disneyland Resort

Disney Resorts are filled with all kind of delicious and delectable foods! Today we are going to focus on some of the tasty eats you can find right now at Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort. Recently opened restaurant in Disney Springs, Jaléo by Jose Andrés, along with Pepe, the attached quick-service restaurant are both open for lunch and dinner every day. These restaurants feature the flavors of Spain including tapas, paella, gazpacho and more!

Continuing at Disney Springs, brunch is now available at Wine Bar George on Saturdays and Sundays from 11AM to 3PM. Some of the great offerings include Wine Country Omelet with artichoke, asparagus, and an olive and tomato medley, Burrata with avocado and bacon, or Eggs Benedict with chicken-sausage, hollandaise sauce and a polenta cake. They also have one of my favorite dishes, a Sausage Gravy and Biscuits plate! The biscuits are house-made and it comes with bacon. Can you say YUM? If you want more of a hearty meal, try out the Steak & Eggs Frites that has skirt steak, eggs, and sriracha hollandaise over steak fries. If you are in the mood for more of a sweet meal, the French Toast with mascarpone and caramel sauce is the dish for you!

Are you looking for a great drink to pair with your meal? Go ahead and order a fresh mimosa! The Frozcato Mimosa is made with Dole Whip Pineapple, Prosecco and Moscato. Other tasty drinks include the Aperol Rosé Spritz and the Wake Up Call. The spritz features sangria, frosé with rosé, vodka, and strawberry while the Wake Up Call is an espresso-infused barsol pisco and espresso liqueur.

Moving over to Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, one of my favorite restaurants is Whispering Canyon Cafe. They debuted wonderful breakfast skillets with options for everyone. There is a Heritage Skillet, Carnivore Skillet, Lighter Side Breakfast Skillet and of course, they include Mickey waffles!

Next at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex is the newest Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Co. location.  This location is at the former Welcome Center and they offer a variety of menu items and of course plenty of beverages. Some of those beverages include artisan roasted coffees, teas, and lattes. Food-wise, they have pastries, breakfast sandwiches, acai bowls and plenty of healthy options. There is also an exclusive drink to this location which is a cold brew with a shot of espresso and light cream called the “The Game Changer.”

Our last stop at the Walt Disney World Resort is at Port Orleans – French Quarter. Here you can celebrate Madri Gras all year with Cajun dishes, beignets, and the super cute Mardi Gras Cupcake. The cupcake is filled with chocolate buttercream and has vanilla buttercream icing on top.

Moving over to the Disneyland Resort in California, Disneyland Park has two new shareable dished at the Lamplight Lounge. These items on the Share menu include a Kobe Beef Slider and Spotlight Nachos. The Kobe Beef slides have bacon and beer cheese sauce, lettuce, tomato-habanero chutney, and pickled onions on a toasted Amish bun. The Spotlight nachos are a rotational dish that has chile-spiced beef barbacoa, house-made tortilla chips topped with pinto bean puree, spicy tomatillo salsa, onions, cilantro, chipotle cheese sauce, queso fresco, and pickled jalapenos.
