A Total Muppet Takeover: The Electric Mayhem Rocks G-Force Records!
Remember those breezy summer afternoons spent at Hollywood Studios, ears ringing with Aerosmith’s power chords while you stared up at that giant red Stratocaster? Well, dust off your studded denim vest and grab your neon shades, because the courtyard is getting a serious Dr. Teeth makeover. Starting May 26, the Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster isn’t just back, it’s gone full Muppet. It feels like a fever dream from a 1970s variety show, and honestly? We are absolutely here for the chaos.

The vibe starts shifting the second you hit the courtyard. That iconic ruby-red guitar has been hit with a splash of psychedelic paint that looks like it was ripped straight off the Electric Mayhem’s bus. If you look closely at the piano motif near the base, you’ll spot a golden key, a sweet, subtle nod to Dr. Teeth himself. It’s that perfect blend of nostalgia and far-out energy that makes you feel like you’ve stepped into a world where everything is just a little bit brighter and a lot more musical.

Inside G-Force Records, things are under new management, and by that, we mean Scooter’s uncle, J.P. Grosse, has officially moved in. It’s a total family affair! The walls are plastered with posters tracing the band’s legendary career, making the queue feel more like a rock museum than a wait for a ride.

And keep your eyes peeled for a who’s who of Hollywood legends. From “Weird Al” Yankovic and Danny Trejo to John Stamos and Darren Criss, the celebrity cameos are tucked into every corner, making the wait feel like you’re actually backstage at the Grammys.

The real magic happens when you step into the recording studio. Seeing a full Audio-Animatronics figure of Scooter trying to wrangle a booth full of penguin audio engineers is the kind of Muppet madness we’ve missed. They’re desperately trying to get the band to their gig, but the Mayhem is doing what they do best: jamming. To save the day, you’ll head to the alley to hop into a L.I.M.O. (Lengthy Immediate Motion Object) powered by Muppet Labs. It’s high-tech, high-speed, and high-hilarity.
Once you launch, it’s all about the music. The setlist is an absolute banger, featuring remixes of classics like “Born To Be Wild” (shoutout to Camilla the Chicken on vocals) and a high-octane cover of “Song 2.” Whether you’re screaming along to Kelly Clarkson or rocking out with Def Leppard, the adrenaline hits just as hard as the bassline.

And once you stumble off the ride, heart still racing, you can head over to FØØD by Swedish Chef for some snacks that hopefully won’t require a fire extinguisher. It’s a rock-and-roll revolution, Muppet-style, and we can’t wait to see you in the front row!
