The Universal Mardi Gras: International Flavors Of Carnaval Happening Now At Universal Studios Florida!
Get ready to part at Universal Studios Florida with the Universal Mardi Gras: International Flavors of Carnaval! From February 3 through April 7, you will be able to enjoy sweet, savory and spicy dishes inspired by New Orleans favorites plus dance along the Mardi Gras parade where you can even catch tongs of beads!
The festival also offers live concerts on select nights so end the day with your favorite music! Take a look at everything you will find during this fan favorite event:

MARDI GRAS PARADE
This year the parade will feature six new floats inspired by elements like Earth, wind, water, fire, the sun and moon! These new floats will join the traditional New Orleans floats we all love.
Want to make this experience extra special? Take advantage of the Mardi Gras Float Ride and Dine Experience that includes a 3 course meal at one of the participant restaurants, followed by the opportunity to be a part of the parade by tossing beads aboard a float as it goes down the street of Universal Studios Florida, so much fun!
DELICIOUS TREATS
The festival offers more than 60 tasting items inspired with flavors from New Orleans, Spain, China and more! Some of the treats you will be able to get include:
- Fried Green Tomato Po’boy (New Orleans)
- Beignets (New Orleans)
- Chicken Schnitzel (Germany)
- Chilaquiles Verdes (Mexico)

Special Mardi Gras offerings will also be available at select venues at Universal CityWalk, including a new Year of the Dragon Shake at The Toothsome Chocolate Emporium & Savory Feast Kitchen. Plus, guests can attend a Mardi Gras After Party at Pat O’Brien’s on select nights, and enjoy special entertainment and theming at the Red Coconut Club which will transform back to the Cursed Coconut Club for the Mardi Gras season.
FUN MERCHANDISE
An all-new incredibly-themed Tribute Store that will take guests on a haunted river cruise through the Mississippi complete with beads, treats and a gator or two. Here, guests can shop for ultra-festive Mardi Gras merchandise to commemorate their visit ranging from t-shirts, jean jackets and hoodies to bucket hats, cups and a gator light-up popcorn bucket.
