Most people don’t associate Disney with the word Free, but I’m here to tell you about the top ten free things you can get at the Walt Disney World resort!

  1. Cups of water

On those hot Florida days, buying bottles of water can really add up in price! Luckily, most quick service locations will give you a cup of water for free. All you have to do is ask! Staying hydrated is very important so that you can have the most enjoyable time on your trip, so make sure to stop and grab free cups of water all day long in the parks.

  1. Celebration Buttons

Whether you a celebrating a birthday, anniversary, engagement, honeymoon or anything else, make sure to grab these buttons and wear them all day long! Cast members love to celebrate with you and will most likely wish you well. Sometimes they’ll even throw in a little pixie dust, so wear your button with pride!

  1. Ghiradelli chocolate samples

I don’t know about you, but where there is free chocolate, I will be there. If you are like me, you’ll be thrilled to know that the Ghiradelli Shop in Disney Springs gives out free chocolate samples. They had stopped giving out samples for a while, but I think all the people complaining made them bring it back and I am super happy about that. Yum…chocolate!

  1. Onsite Transportation

There are plenty of different transportation options once you are on the Walt Disney World resort. They offer buses, boats, the monorail and soon the Disney Skyliner will be running. These transportation options are free to use around the Walt Disney Resort which is a lot easier than driving everywhere yourself.

  1. Maps

You might think maps are just a way to figure out where you need to go, but they also make awesome souvenirs! Each park, resort hotels, and Disney Springs will have plenty of maps for you to take. There are some awesome ideas out there to make your maps into great home decorations. I recently made coasters out of my maps and they remind me of all the great trips we’ve taken.

  1. Stickers

Stickers are a great way to make kids (and even adults) even happier while going around the parks and resorts. Some Cast Members carry stickers to give out to little ones, but don’t be afraid to ask for a sticker if you are an adult!

Places To Cool Off At Disney World

  1. Soda Samples

Epcot has a place called Club Cool which offers free soda samples from around the world. Some of these flavors you may not have even heard of before. I will warn you though to avoid the Beverly!

  1. Package Pickup/Resort Delivery

Did you buy a great souvenir early in the morning and then regret having to lug it around all day? Disney is kind enough to offer both package pickup and resort delivery so that you can buy anything you want and not have to carry it around all day. Package pickup will send your merchandise to the front of the park so that you can grab it on your way out. Resort delivery is available to those staying on Disney property where they’ll send your merchandise right to your resort!

  1. Kids Activities

There are some awesome activities for kids that are free including movies under the stars at your resort, Kidcot fun stops in Epcot, Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom, Wilderness Explorers in the Animal Kingdom and so much more! These activities will keep the kids involved and enthusiastic throughout the day.

  1. Fastpass+

This freebie is included with your park ticket! Most theme parks charge extra for skip the line passes, but at Disney they make your park touring super easy and they are free for you to use. A lot of people don’t realize they can schedule these ahead of time, but when you do that, you have a better opportunity to grab the more popular attractions.

Check out all of these free things on your next trip to make it even more magical!
