Ride Photos
Some of the most exciting photos come from rides and attractions! TRON Lightcycle Run at Magic Kingdom offers a fantastic photo op of guests on the ride. There are cameras that take pictures from both sides of the coaster so all guests can be seen.
While Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind didn’t open in 2023, we still think it’s one of the top photo ops of the year! The photo is taken pretty close to the start of the ride and really captures the surprise and excitement of guests.
Tiny World Magic Shots make you feel like you’re on top of the world! This special op is available at all four parks now.
Photographers also offer Super Zoom Magic Shots – available in all four theme parks – that capture photos and videos of you from unique angles at some of the most iconic locations in the parks.
Back in May, guests could experience the Watercolor Magic Shot that turned your photo into a painting while stylistically removing other guests from the background so your friends and family were the focus of the photo.
Frozen photo ops and Magic Shots are available around Walt Disney World! Just smile and pose and Disney PhotoPass photographers will do the rest.
To celebrate the release of Ahsoka on Disney+, Image Scanners in Batuu (known on our planet as photographers), captured Magic Shots featuring Chopper, a Loth Cat, and of course, Ahsoka.
One of your favorite members of the Familia Madrigal recently arrived at Magic Kingdom Park! As you meet Mirabel outside of Casa Madrigal, a Disney PhotoPass photographer will be there to capture all the smiles and hugs. It’s one of the many character greeting locations where Disney PhotoPass Service captures your encounter so you can stay in the moment.
During the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival, the Brew-Wing Lab at the Odyssey featured the culinary creations (and mishaps) of Muppet Labs. Nearby, a Magic Shot featuring Bunsen and Beaker showing off a few of their… uh, interesting dishes was a guest-favorite.
A guest-favorite photo op that’s been around for a while (and still very popular) is the Tangled lanterns photo in Magic Kingdom. Guests can get a special photo holding one of the lanterns from the animated film, Tangled, near the Rapunzel bathrooms in the park.
In 2023 guests were also able to celebrate Hispanic and Latin American Heritage Month around Walt Disney World Resort with Magic Shots inspired by Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Encanto” and Disney/Pixar’s “Coco” at select locations.
And we can’t forget the special, seasonal Magic Shots! Halloween and Christmas both bring extra magical photo ops and Magic Shots. And 2023 brought a new holiday party to Disney’s Hollywood Studios that gave guests lots of festive photo ops!
