Walt Disney World has SO MUCH to offer – from rides & shows to characters & fireworks, to dining options and experiences galore – they have it all, but I have to say – the FOOD is one of my favorite parts of all – which may sound nuts but hear me out!
Walt Disney World offers more than 200 places to eat on site, with over 350 chefs on hand to who create out of this world culinary experiences daily. Some of my favorite things to eat at WDW aren’t found at the fancy spots though – nah, I’m here for the snacks! Read on for our list of top snack picks at the WDW Parks & Resorts:
-Nutella Waffle Sandwich: fresh fruit, nutella, a fluffy waffle – what more could you want? Find it at Sleepy Hollow in the Magic Kingdom
*They also serve up a “Sweet & Spicy” version with battered chicken if Nutella isn’t your thing
-Dole Whip: Creamy pineapple soft serve is a perfect treat on a hot Florida day – check out all the places you can find it here
*OR if you’re looking for a twist on the classic, check out these New Dole Whips
-Caramel Popcorn: Karamell Kuche in Epcot’s Germany Pavilion is where you’ll find this sweet treat made fresh throughout the day – that is, if you don’t smell it first – the whole shop smells amazing and will surely satisfy your sweet tooth with its wide array of confections
*OR if caramel isn’t your thing, WDW pops up fresh salty, buttery popcorn at tons of spots throughout the Parks daily!
-Cinnamon Roll: Served warm at Gaston’s Tavern in the Magic Kingdom, these HUGE rolls are big enough to share (or not – we don’t judge if you want to keep it all for yourself!)
-Mickey Ice Cream Bar: Served literally everywhere at all Parks and Resorts – the iconic Mickey-shaped bar is vanilla ice cream covered in a delicious chocolate shell
-Mickey Soft Pretzel: Served at various kiosks and snack spots throughout the Parks, these are served warm and are shaped like everyone’s favorite mouse
-Beignets – Found exclusively at the Sassagoula Floatworks & Food Factory at the Port Orleans French Quarter Resort, these are served hot and coated with powdered sugar. Oh, and you can choose from a variety of dipping sauces too – yum
-Zebra Domes – The Mara at Animal Kingdom Lodge sells packs of these “adult only” snacks – Amarula Cream Liquor mousse and panna cotta white chocolate on top of a cake base, drizzled with chocolate – these are tiny bites of heaven
-Tie-Dye Cheesecake – Pop Century is famous for this colorful dessert they serve up at their food court – it’s a nice moist cheesecake that is so eye-catching you can’t miss it!
Whether or not you prefer salty or sweet, white chocolate or dark, or caramel or butter on your popcorn – one thing’s for sure – Snacks are LIFE – Disney World knows this and fully supports my (and your!) love for snacks, so next time you’re at WDW be sure to check out these amazing snacks – your taste buds won’t be disappointed!
