Understanding EMM, Early Morning Magic, at Walt Disney World

I am gearing up to make my Fastpass+ selections for my trip soon, but I became very confused.  What in the Walt Disney World does Extra Magic Hours and Early Morning Magic mean?  Better question, why do these two terms affect me in my plan-making?  Simple answer, they both give you extra time in the parks!

EMM stands for Early Morning Magic and EMH stands for Extra Magic Hours, yet they are two totally different experiences for guests! Let’s dig into the specifics of Early Magic Hours.  You can find the benefits of EMH here.

On select days throughout the year, select Walt Disney World theme parks will offer Early Morning Magic events for an extra fee.  This extra ticket event will give guests attending access to specific attractions and breakfast prior to the time the park opens to the general public.  Currently, EMM is available at the Magic Kingdom or Hollywood Studios. Guests must have a general parks admission ticket in addition to an EMM ticket.
