An Updated Look at Everything Coming To Halloween Horror Nights 35 at Universal Studios Florida
The fog is rolling in a little faster. Universal Orlando has unveiled even more details for Halloween Horror Nights 35, announcing the event’s first two scare zones and confirming the return of the fan-favorite Nightmare Fuel stage show. The latest reveals build on an already impressive lineup that includes eight of this year’s ten haunted houses, giving fans an even better idea of what to expect when the screams begin on August 28.

The biggest new announcement is the debut of two scare zones. Infernal Carnival of Nightmares will bring Jack the Clown and Dr. Oddfellow together as they welcome guests into a twisted carnival filled with terrifying surprises. Meanwhile, Sideshow of Decay puts the spotlight on Cindy, who uses Dr. Oddfellow’s dark magic to resurrect long-forgotten nightmares from an abandoned carnival junkyard. More scare zones are still expected to be announced before opening night.
The return of Cindy is particularly noteworthy. Originally conceived as an early Halloween Horror Nights Icon before eventually becoming part of The Caretaker’s backstory, she has become one of the event’s most recognizable original characters over the years. Universal says she’ll use Dr. Oddfellow’s magic to resurrect nightmares from Halloween Horror Nights past, a detail that has many fans wondering if HHN 35 could serve as a celebration of the event’s rich history by bringing previous Icons and legendary characters back into the fog.
Universal also confirmed this year’s live entertainment with Nightmare Fuel: Blood Noir. The newest installment of the popular Nightmare Fuel series promises another adrenaline-filled production featuring high-energy music, death-defying stunts, and a vampire-inspired story that will unfold on stage throughout the event.
These announcements join an already stacked haunted house lineup featuring Stranger Things 5, Sinners, Hellraiser, and four all-new original concepts including Jack & Oddfellow: Chaos & Control, H.R. Bloodengutz Presents: A Halloween Fright-Tacular!, MADLANDS: Caged Cannibals, Cybergoria, and INVASION: Alien Abduction. With just two haunted houses still waiting to be revealed, Halloween Horror Nights 35 is quickly shaping up to be one of the event’s biggest years yet.
Halloween Horror Nights 35 runs on select nights from August 28 through November 1 at Universal Studios Florida. Tickets, Universal Express Passes, R.I.P.
