What is Disney Going to do with Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser?
Disney announced last week that the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser will be permanently closing this September. The immersive Star Wars experience has only been open since last year. What will Disney do with the space once it’s closed?

The Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser is a 2-night immersive experience offering guests a chance to live their own Star Wars adventure. The average cost is $5000 for 2 and includes food, a visit to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and other fun experiences “onboard”.
While the starcruiser initially filled up and sold out, Disney ended up canceling multiple voyages that didn’t fill up and even offered discounts for select groups. Now, the experience is closing and we’re all wondering what will happen with the space?
Disney has not made any announcement regarding what will happen to the starcruiser. Many think the space should be turned into a regular Star Wars-themed resort hotel. Guests could book the hotel for their Disney World vacation and have easy access to Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
Another thought for the space is Star Wars Dinner Theater. They could keep the theater aspect of the starcruiser but make it a shorter version of what it is now. Maybe offer a 2-3 hour experience rather than a 2-night experience.
Others have suggested the building be turned into an expansion of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The starcruiser is located very close to Galaxy’s Edge but is separated from the park by a parking lot and a road.
