However, as of today, April 1st, the dates for this year’s event remain a mystery. Anticipation is building for this year’s event, but the burning question remains: When will Universal unveil the official dates?

There could be a few reasons behind the wait. One possibility is Universal’s recent focus on the highly anticipated grand opening of Epic Universe, their new theme park. With the most recent Epic Universe announcement just released on March 28th, it’s possible Universal strategically chose to prioritize the Epic Universe news cycle and pushed the Halloween Horror Nights announcement by a week or so.
