Halloween Time is in full swing at the Disneyland Resort. This time of year brings lots of Nightmare Before Christmas touches to the resort. There’s a character meet & greet with Jack and Sally, a special fireworks show, and even a Halloween party hosted by Oogie Boogie! If you are a fan of Oogie Boogie, you’ll want to check out these experiences:
At Disneyland park, you can catch a glimpse of Oogie Boogie in Haunted Mansion Holiday. This seasonal attraction celebrates the collision between Halloween and Christmas as Jack Skellington offers his unique take on the holidays. You’ll see Oogie Boogie towards the end of the attraction. Oogie Boogie also makes an appearance during the supernatural projection and special effects show, “Halloween Screams.” This nighttime spectacular, which is available for all guests visiting Disneyland park, goes sky-high on weekends as the show is enhanced with fireworks.
Oogie Boogie also beckons guests as his oversized silhouette looms above the main entrance of Disney California Adventure park. His spooky presence can also be felt along Buena Vista Street and seen projected on the façade of Carthay Circle in the evenings.
Guests visiting Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa can oooh and ahhh at the confectionary masterpiece in the lobby where Oogie Boogie takes shape in a delicious display!
Lastly, Oogie Boogie, of course, has a presence at the new Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party. This all-new, separate ticket event takes place on select evenings at Disney California Adventure park. Oogie Boogie has cast his spell and has summoned the Disney villains to scare up some thrilling surprises — from immersive treat trails to the new “World of Color” show “Villainous!”. You will find Oogie Boogie himself in the Animation Academy during the party.
Bonus! Check out this video of actor Ken Page, the voice of Oogie Boogie himself!
