One of the most wholesome parts of visiting a Disney park is meeting your favorite Disney characters but what if you are not planing to visit a park, can you still meet them? The answer is YES!
Whether you are a local or are visiting Florida for any other reason than going to Walt Disney World, you can still get that magical experience by meeting some of your favorite characters outside the parks. A great place to find them is restaurants located at some of the hotels.

Since Disney characters meet & greets just recently came back, the character dining experiences are still limited but here are three awesome ones where you can get that Disney dose plus delicious food:
Located at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, this dining location offers an all-you-care-to enjoy breakfast or dinner feast! And you get to meet Mickey and some of his friends like Minnie, Donald, Goofy and Pluto. Definitely a great option plus you can also enjoy views of Cinderella castle from the resort balcony or the monorail running while you eat.
TOPOLINO’S TERRACE – FLAVORS OF THE RIVIERA
This restaurant is located at Disney’s Riviera Resort and offers French and Italian cuisine, along with amazing rooftop views and obviously your favorite Disney characters!
Here you can meet Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Daisy in their stylish outfits unique to this location only during breakfast time, so make sure to make your reservations in advance.
STORY BOOK DINING AT ARTIST POINT WITH SNOW WHITE
Located at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, this restaurant offers delicious dinner that the whole family will love plus you get to meet Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs!
The restaurant decor will make you feel like you are entering an enchanted forest filled with delightful music that help bring a storybook fantasy to life.
Other great locations to keep in mind but are currently unavailable are Ohana where you can meet Stitch, Lilo plus Mickey and friends and Trattoria al forno with Rapunzel, Flynn, Ariel and Eric.
If you are lucky, you might encounter the “Caravanning around the world” bus driving around the resorts, this one is a bit tricky to find since they don’t have set times or locations. So keep your eye out to see if you can spot this big bus!
So meeting Disney characters outside the parks is totally possible! We hope more dining locations are added to the list soon, until then enjoy these fun restaurants!
