Where to See Incredible Easter Eggs at Disney World
Spring is on its way and that means Easter is almost here! The resorts at Disney World display some incredible Easter Eggs this time of year. The most amazing eggs can be seen at Disney’s Contemporary Resort.
These amazing Easter eggs are created by Disney’s world-class bakery team. Each egg is hand-crafted with edible ingredients and has it’s own design/theme. We saw SO many different eggs at the resort! You could even make a little scavenger hunt out of your visit and look for all of the eggs around the hotel.
Above, we saw eggs themed to Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway and a Disney100 theme! A few eggs were solid lavender and purple which are the colors being used for the Disney100 celebration.
There are eggs inspired by Disney characters like Stitch, eggs inspired by attractions like the new TRON Lightcycle Run, and eggs inspired by Disney films like The Sword in the Stone. All are incredible with such fantastic details!
There were also eggs made to be classic Easter bunnies, a pirate’s lost treasure, and robins in spring. We are amazed at how much detail the bakers can fit into such small pieces! One egg even featured the names of all of the staff members that work at the Contemporary Bakery.
There are some smaller Easter eggs on display at Steakhouse 71. We saw two inspired by Disney artist, Mary Blair, one inspired by Tinker Bell, and one inspired by Alice in Wonderland.
Also, be on the lookout for the Golden Egg, alongside a chocolate representation of Chef Jeff. The Golden Egg is made of 50 lbs of chocolate and covered in 24 karat gold leaf.
You’ll notice these displays do not have signs asking guests not to touch, but instead, asking guests not to eat. Don’t do either of those things! Just enjoy the lovely displays and marvel at how talented the baking team is!
