Character Dining is one of the best ways to experience the magic of Disney plus delicious food!
After the pandemic, restaurants around the Walt Disney World Resort have been slowly reopening, some offer modified character experiences while others are fully back to normal. But there are also certain dining locations that remain close or offer just a dining experience without character interactions. Let’s take a look at the character dining locations that remain close and we hope to be able to enjoy again soon:
Cinderella’s Royal Table – Magic Kingdom
While having a fairytale dining experience is possible inside Cinderella Castle surrounded by soaring stone archways, majestic flags and spectacular stained glass windows overlooking Fantasyland and Main Street U.S.A plus delicious food of course, character dining is still not available at this location.
We definitely miss Cinderella and the other princesses during our visit and hope to see them soon!
Akershus – Epcot
This storybook dining experience inside a medieval castle with soaring archways and cathedral ceilings with a delicious American and Norwegian buffet is sadly still unavailable. We can’t wait to have an amazing time with Snow White, Cinderella, Belle, Princess Aurora and Ariel.
Trattoria al Forno – Disney’s BoardWalk
While this dining location is open, the Bon Voyage Adventure Breakfast with Rapunzel, Flynn, Ariel and Eric is still unavailable. I highly recommend booking this dining experience as soon as it becomes available again, is definitely worth it.
1900 Park Fare – Disney’s Grand Floridian
One of the most popular character dining locations where you can have breakfast with Mary Poppins, Alice, Mad Hatter, Pooh and Tiger or have dinner with Cinderella and Prince Charming is still unavailable.
Crystal Palace – Magic Kingdom
While currently unavailable, the breakfast with your favorite characters will return on October 25, 2022! So make your reservations now and start your day with Winnie the Pooh and his friends!
