Last night, Disney’s Magic Kingdom Park hosted the first-ever Boo Bash After Hours special ticketed event and really made me excited for the spooky season to begin! I know it’s only August, but Fall is coming and it’s one of my very favorite times to visit Disney World. Guests had great things to say about Boo Bash, and it feels so good to have special ticketed events back at Disney. Here are just a few of the reasons why I love spending time during the spooky season at Disney World!
Fall and Halloween Decorations
Disney becomes even more magical when the decorations come out! From the iconic Mickey pumpkins to the giant pumpkins near the Magic kingdom gates, the Fall decorations will really get you in the Halloween spirit! There are also some amazing photo opportunities available with the Fall decor.
Limited Edition Snacks and Merchandise
Ok, we all know that Disney has some of the best sweet treats and snacks around, and I love trying the new holiday-themed snacks when they come out! Last year we saw delicious special items like Constance’s Wedding Cake. This year, the theme parks and many of the Disney resort hotels will be offering special limited-edition menu items in celebration of the spooky season!
Disney’s Boo Bash After-Hours Ticketed Event
So many of us were skeptical of this brand new event because we just love Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party so much! However, the very first Boo Bash after-hours event was last night at Disney’s Magic Kingdom and it was a hit! Special treats and snacks are included, wait time for the select open attractions is minimal and crowds are much lower than during regular operating hours. While we still miss the original Halloween party, Boo Bash offers us some of our favorite spooky season favorites!
Crowds and Weather
While this year may look a little bit different due to the 50th anniversary celebration starting October 1, usually crowds are very easy to handle in the Fall. I also appreciate the slightly cooler temperatures that sometimes co,e along with the Fall season. Now, temperatures can still be pretty high during Fall, but I’ve found that eveniongs in October and November tend to e a bit cooler than they are during the hot summer months.
Anytime is a great time to visit Disney World, but I really love visiting during the spooky season!
