We only have a week to go for that one day a year where we get to celebrate all things Mommy! If you’re lucky enough to be in the Orlando area on Mother’s Day 2018 then Disney Springs is definitely the place to be. For those looking for some last minute suggestions on how to surprise that special mom in your life here are 7 of our favorites!
1. Surprise Her With a Mom Cupcake Box – (pictured above) Head on over to this famous cupcake bakery for an exclusive box created especially for mom. The Mom Box will be filled with some of Sprinkles’ most popular flavors. This special treat will be available from May 11 to May 13, 2018.
2. Raise a Glass to Mom at Enzo’s Hideaway – On May 13th, Enzo’s Hideaway will offer a Pix Fixe Menu of Italian specialities. These include ahi tuno crudo, ricotta gnocchi, pasti frutti di mare and a trio of homemade gelatos. The restaurant will also items off its regular menu. As a special treat, all moms will also receive a complimentary glass of Prosecco when dining that day. Reservations can be made here.
3. Sample Delicious Treats Themed After Some Much-Loved Disney Moms – Another wonderful treat for moms with a sweet tooth, pop round to Amorette’s Patisserie on Mother’s Day to sample cute cakes themed after famous Disney moms. Mrs. Potts, Moana’s grandmother and Coco’s mother and grandmother are just some of the special characters being honored on this day. Other tasty menu items include millennial pink macaroons with pink filling and sugar cookies!
4. Enjoy Brunch with a View – Your mom will fall in love with the scenic views of Disney Springs aboard an iconic Mississippi riverboat. perfect for seafood lovers, moms will love the special Mother’s Day brunch menu which features delights such as lobster ravioli with tarragon cream sauce. Brunch items off the classic menu will also be available. Reservations are still available and can be made online via the My Disney Experience app or by calling 407.WDW.DINE.
5. Show Mom You Love Her with a Decadent Chocolate Treat – If chocolate is the way to your mom’s heart then we strongly suggest you make The Ganachery your first port-of-call on Mother’s Day. The shop will offer special treats for mom that include a glass of Rosa Regale which is perfectly paired with a gourmet ganache square. There will also be special Mother’s Day ganache lollipops available on the day. Be sure to stop by and treat mom to one (or both!)
6. Show Mom a Toe-Tapping Good Time with the Raglan Road Brunch– On May 12 and May 13, 2018 this much-loved Disney Springs eatery will be infusing Mother’s Day weekend with a bit of Celtic Spirit. The Rollicking Raglan Brunch will take place on both days from 10 am – 3 pm and will feature traditional Irish favorites. Live entertainment will also be available from noon until 4pm. Reservations are still available and can be made online at disneyworld.com or by calling 407.WDW.DINE.
7. Treat Mom to a Special Gift at One of Disney Springs’ Amazing Boutiques – Deals abound in the lead in to Mother’s Day with many Disney retailers offering some impressive items in honor of mom. Alex and Ani will offer mom-themed pieces until May 13, 2018. With 30% off select lines at Coach you may want to treat mom to a new handbag. PANDORA is offering a special mother-daughter bracelet building station and Ever After Jewelery Co. is offering a PANODRA Mom Charm! There will be no shortage of incredible deals on the day so be sure to set aside some time to window shop!
These are just a few of the incredible ways that you can surprise Mom at Disney Springs on May 13th. And remember, most of these incredible eateries and retail outlets serve up amazing treats throughout the year.
