Memory Maker

Q: We’ll be visiting Disney World for the day. Can we still purchase Memory Maker?

Disney’s Memory Maker package is perfect for families about to embark on a Walt Disney World getaway.  For $169 for an advanced purchase, visitors receive unlimited downloads of all of the photos taken by Disney’s amazing PhotoPass photographers as well ride photos and videos captured during your visit.  This makes it a terrific value for money for guests spending several days at Walt Disney World. But what about those only visiting the theme parks for one day?

Many day guests do not realize this but you can actually purchase a one day Memory Maker package! Dubbed Memory Maker One Day, this option provides you with all of the same perks as the original Memory Maker package.  This includes digital downloads of all of your PhotoPass photos linked to your account.

So how much does it cost?  The cost for a one day package is $69.

How do I purchase the one day package? You can buy Memory Maker One Day via the My Disney Experience mobile app.   However, you must have at least one PhotoPass photo linked to your account during your visit in order to see the option in My Disney Experience that will allow you to purchase the package.  You can also find out more about One Day at any of the theme park ticket windows or the Disney PhotoPass centers.

Should I go with the one day or the multiple day option? It depends on what your plans are.   If you’ll be visiting the parks for three days or more and want to capture the magic during your entire stay than the advanced Memory Maker at $169 is definitely the more economical option.  However, if you want to sample what Memory Maker has to offer but don’t want to commit to using it during your entire visit than the smaller package will save you a bit of money.

Please Note: If you think you may want a multiple day Memory Maker it is good to plan ahead.  $169 is the price for purchasing the package up to three days in advance  If you wait until the last minute, the package goes up to $199. So definitely try and be an early bird!
