Cinderella Castle Receives First Piece Of Decor Ahead Of Disney World 50th Anniversary!

Cinderella Castle is getting ready for Walt Disney World 50th anniversary!

First we saw the castle transformed from it’s blue and white colors to this beautiful pink, blue and gold. Now it just got a new piece of decor ahead of this magical celebration.

The Imagineers installed the first embellishment on the Castle featuring a royal blue jewel with gold detailing and shimmering draping with some gold circles featuring a 50 on the sides.

The ribbon hanging from the decor features an EARidescent color made of pinks and blues just like Cinderella Castle and some gold details on top of that.

Imagineers got inspiration from Disney Legend Mary Blair’s vision of the classic film “Cinderella” and i think they did a great job!

This is just the start of a full makeover that will continue in the coming months, the turrets and towers will receive pearls, jewels and ribbons in royal blues and iridescent golds.

And at night Cinderella Castle will transform into one of the beacons of magic shimmering with EARidescence! We can’t wait to see it!
