Disney Wish is now at Port Canaveral!

Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship, Disney Wish, has arrived at Port Canaveral! Port Canaveral, Florida, is the new home of the Disney Wish and will be for the foreseeable future.

“We have anticipated this homecoming of the Disney Wish for some time and know that our entire Port community is excited to have her sailing from our Port,” said Port CEO Capt. John Murray. “We are proud of the longstanding partnership we have with Disney Cruise Line, and the arrival of the Disney Wish adds to the growing number of impressive cruise ships providing high quality guest experiences from our Port.”

Captain Mickey and Captain Minnie welcomed the Disney Wish to Port Canaveral.

The Disney Wish will provide three- and four-night sailings to the Bahamas with stops at Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay. The maiden voyage will depart on July 14.

The Disney Wish is the 5th ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet. Two more will be joining in the next few years. The Wish has 1,250 guest staterooms and is slightly larger than the Disney Fantasy. The ship has so many exciting new experiences for guests! We can’t wait to explore it.
