As many of us know, Disney can be just as fun for adults as it is for children. For adults who like to indulge in a cocktail or two- one park may come to mind- Epcot. Having drinks “around the world” has become a fun challenge for many guests 21 and older. This challenge includes having (or sharing) an adult beverage from each country represented in Epcot’s World Showcase. There are my drinks in each country to choose from, but if I had to choose (and I’ve had a lot of practice), here’s what I would order from each pavilion:
The USA- Frozen Red Stag and Lemonade- This delicious and refreshing frozen cocktail is a mixture of Jim Beam Red Stag, which is a black cherry flavored bourbon, and frozen lemonade.
Canada- Stow Away Mary- This ultimate Bloody Mary is like a drink and a snack in one! The Stow Away Mary is made with Absolute Vodka and is topped with bleu cheese stuffed olives, celery, grape tomato, and chicken nuggets! This filling and savory drink can be found at The Refreshment Port.
Germany- Schofferhofer Hefeweizen Grapefruit Beer- Of course when stopping by the German Pavilion grabbing a beer is a must! This light and refreshing beer is perfect on a hot Florida day!
France- Grand Marnier Slush- This refreshing frozen drink is made up of Grey Goose Vodka and Grand Marnier liquor. Easily one of the most popular drinks of the World Showcase, the Grand Marnier Slush can be found at the kiosk in the France Pavilion.
China- Tipsy Ducks in Love- This unique and delicious drink could also be a dessert! Made with iced coffee, iced tea, whipped cream, chocolate, and of course a shot of bourbon! The Tipsy Ducks in Love can be found at Joy of Tea, in the China Pavilion.
The UK- Welsh Dragon- The Welsh Dragon is a sweet and fruity blend of peach schnapps, melon liqueur, orange, pineapple and creme de menthe. This green goodness can be found at Rose and Crown in the UK Pavilion.
Norway- Viking Coffee- Found at Kringla Bakeri Og Cafe, The Viking Coffee is the perfect pick-me-up! This tasty beverage can be served hot or cold and features coffee, Kamora Coffee Liquor, and Bailey’s Irish Cream.
Japan- Violet Sake- Violet Sake is hands down my favorite drink found throughout the entire World Showcase. It is very sweet but so refreshing. It can be found at the kiosk in the Japan Pavilion.
Italy- Sangria from Via Napoli Sangria- How could you go wrong with a drink made up of Italian wine and fresh fruit? Found at Via Napoli in the Italy Pavilion this Sangria is a perfect blend of fruit and wine.
Mexico- Avocado Margarita- This unique drink s sweeter than it sounds! There is a reason the Avocado Margarita from La Cava del Tequila in the Mexico Pavilion is one of the most sought after cocktails at Disney! Made with fresh avocado, white tequila, and melon liqueur this light green creamy frozen drink will have your taste buds singing Viva la Mexico!
Morocco- Tangier’s Breeze- Found at Restaurant Marrakesh, Tangier’s Breeze is a fruity and refreshing drink made up of Absolut Peach Vodka, melon liqueur, and pineapple juice.
As you can see, Epcot is definitely the place to be to try some of the most amazing drinks at Walt Disney World Resort. Which drink are you excited to try?
