Things have been looking a bit different since the parks reopened last year, with modified character experiences, shows and even dining.
One of the most popular dining options is character dining, and even though is slowly coming back, it still looks a bit different in 2021 then what we remember. As of now, there’s only a limited number of character dining options available, let’s take a look:
One of the most popular character dining experiences is Chef Mickey’s. A buffet style breakfast option located inside Disney’s Contemporary Resort.
Here you will find the Fab Five! The character interactions will look different since they can’t go from table to table taking pictures with the guests and signing autographs. Instead they will walk around the restaurant taking selfies with social distancing measures in place.
Located at Future World in Epcot, this restaurant offers views from Living with the Land as well as character interactions with Chip and Dale!
One of the newest character dining options is Topolino’s Terrace at Disney’s Riviera Resort. This location offers French and Italian cuisine and amazing rooftop views.
Here you will also find friends like Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Daisy in stylish outfits walking around the restaurant waving to guests! Remember the characters need to follow social distancing guidelines as well.
HOLLYWOOD AND VINE
Another popular location is Hollywood & Vine at Disney’s Hollywood Studios offering character breakfast with Disney Junior Stars or lunch and dinner with Minnie Mouse!
Another important thing to consider is the use of mobile check-in through My Disney Experience, this way you can skip going to the host stand and just chill until your table is ready.
So if you are planing to book a character dining experience soon, keep in mind the new modifications with character interactions and have fun!
