We keep celebrating world princess week, this time with Belle!
A princess that is confident and comfortable being herself but yarns to escape the simplicity of her life and wants more than a provincial life. She also loves to read different stories that bring her to new places, introduce her to new people and allow her to see new perspectives. We love this intelligent and non-conforming princess.
So let’s take a look at the different ways you can celebrate Belle at Disney parks around the world as part of the ultimate princess celebration!
WALT DISNEY WORLD
If you are visiting Epcot, stop by the France pavilion to catch a 15 minute film featuring songs from Beauty and The Beast! It’s an enchanting twist on a timeless tale narrated by none other than Mrs. Potts herself, Angela Lansbury!
Over at Magic Kingdom Park, enjoy an enchanting meal at Be Our Guest Restaurant! You can feast on a French-inspired fare in one of the three themed areas like: The Grand Ballroom, The West Wing or The Castle Gallery.
You will also get to see the Beast during dinner! So definitely worth the visit.
At Hollywood Studios you can see “Beauty and the Beast Live on Stage” a beautiful Broadway-style musical where you can relieve the magic of a tale as old as time! The show features breathtaking scenery, colorful costumes and amazing music.
After your day at the park, you can head over to Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort to visit the signature lounge of Enchanted Rose! An elegant dining experience themed after the movie. The bar itself glows from the light of a golden chandelier inspired by Belle’s iconic flowing ballgown!
DISNEYLAND RESORT
If you are visiting Disneyland, head over to Fantasyland and check out the Red Rose Taverne! A dining location themed after beauty and the beast that will make you feel like you are in the enchanted countryside of the movie. The location offers some tasty French cuisine, including the grey stuff!
Over at Downtown Disney District you will find a big Belle and Beast lego figure outside the Lego Store! It’s a great photo-op during your visit.
DISNEY CRUISE LINE
The fun continues at sea with the “Beauty and The Beast” musical! Did you know this is the largest and most ambitious production to ever hit the stage on a Disney ship? This Broadway style show is based on the live action film and feature two new songs adapted to the stage for the first time!
The production is so big that it features more then 1,000 costumes, wigs, shoes and accesories, as well as 14,500 Swarovski crystals, with an immersive set composed of giant LED walls and high-definition video projections of 23 different locations. You can find this show aboard the Disney Dream!
TOYKO DISNEY RESORT
Tokyo Disney newest expansion includes a “Beauty and the Beast” themed attraction, shops and restaurants, all inside Belle’s village that will make you fell like you have been dropped inside the movie. The newest attraction is called Enchanted Tale of Beauty and the Beast and is a thrilling ride housed inside the Beast’s castle, where guests board magical cups dishes that “dance” in rhythm to the music from the film as the story is brought to life!
And on September 4th, Tokyo Disney Sea will celebrate the 20th anniversary with a new guided tour called “Discover the Magic )Enchanted Tale of Beauty and the Beast)”. Guests will get to know the new attraction like never before, by hearing stories told by Cast Members and learning new fun facts and discoveries. When you’re finished playing in the park, immerse yourself in the magical ballroom where Belle and Beast had their iconic dance, or in the library where Belle would get lost in her favorite novels when you stay in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast room at Tokyo Disneyland Resort.
HONG KONG DISNEYLAND RESORT
Hong Kong Disneyland is home of the Castle of Magical Dreams that is inspired by the 13 courageous stories of the Disney Princesses and Frozen queens. Belle’s tower has colors like blue and yellow to represent her, blue for the dress she wears while strolling around her village and yellow for the iconic ballgown she wears while dancing with the Beast. The golden finial on her tower depicts the enchanted rose from Beast’s castle and the blue dome features a golden embossed, book icon pattern that symbolizes her passion for reading.
DISNEYLAND PARIS
In Paris, you can stop by Walt Disney Studio in Animagic Theater to snap a photo with Belle! You can also go on Le Pays des Contes de Fees, where you will set off on a voyage to magical miniature lands and find Belle’s village!
SHANGHAI DISNEY RESORT
Watch in awe as a troupe of talented storytellers bring Belle and Beast’s beloved story to life in Fantasyland! A show is humor, music and puppetry!
