INSTRUCTIONS:
- Choose an egg that is about the same color as the glitter you are using. Pour the glitter into a bowl.
- Paint the egg with a single layer of decoupage and place it in the bowl of glitter. Use half of a pink egg and half of a blue egg to create Aurora.
- Spoon glitter over the egg until it’s completely covered. Then use a plastic spoon to remove the egg from the glitter and place it on the wax paper to dry.
- Once all of the eggs are covered in glitter, allow them to dry and place in the empty egg carton so you can spray them with the clear acrylic coating.
- Rapunzel: Cut several pieces of yearn yo 4″. Then, create a braid, and secure both ends. Put a small dab of glue onto the top of the lavender egg to adhere the braid. Wrap the braid across the front of the egg to achieve your desired look. Secure the end of the braid to the back of the egg. Embellish with flowers.
- Belle: Cut the green felt to create a stem and 2 leaves. Then, glue the pieces onto the gold egg. Finish by placing the red rosette at the top of the stem.
- Aurora: Cut a small crown out of the gold card stock. Use a dab of glue to attach the ends together to create a crown. Place a small amount of glue inside the crown and place it on top of the egg.
- Ariel: Paint the small shell purple. Set aside to dry. Use the green puffy paint to create scales on the green egg. Place the egg in the empty cartoon and allow it to dry overnight. Once dry, use the glue to adhere the purple shell and tiny fork to the finished egg.
Happy Easter!
