Disney’s Animal Kingdom just welcomed a new baby rhino!
This is the third white rhino born at the park in the lat 13 months, which is incredible since this is an endangered species.
Did you know rhinos are the world’s second largest land animal and among the most endangered animals in the wild due to poaching? That’s why we are so happy to have the Disney Conservation Fund that supports rhino conservation.
As of now, the white rhino calf doesn’t have a name and the sex and weight is unknown due to the importance of the newborn and mom to have enough time to nurse and bond backstage, so we’ll have to wait sometime to know those details.
A few months ago, Animal Kingdom also welcomed Greta, a cute and playful hippo calf!
You can find her, as well as, her brothers Hans and Augustus and mom Tuma at the hippo bloat on the Kilimanjaro Safari! They will be super happy to see you.

Other animals that have been born at Animal Kingdom park recently are giraffes and zebras! Both of them can be seen at the Kilimanjaro Safari so don’t miss the opportunity to say hello during your next visit.
