Whether you’ve been to Walt Disney World before or it’s your first time, many people will tell you that a Dole Whip is one of those snack items that you must try! There are several variations of this beloved treat. You can get a Pineapple Float, Dole Whip in a cup and even Pineapple Upside Down Cake. When you think of a Dole Whip, most people think of the pineapple flavor. While the Citrus Swirl is an option and in the past, lime soft serve has also been available at the Magic Kingdom, there are now three new Dole Whips to try when you are looking for a sweet treat to cool you down in the Florida heat. All three of these new treats are inspired by some of your favorite Disney movies.
The first option is the Adventure is Out There cone inspired by Disney/Pixar’s Up! This blue cone is filled with a Mango Dole Whip and topped with milk chocolate balloons. This treat is available at Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies at the Magic Kingdom and is perfect for every Wilderness Explorer looking for an adventure!
The second new Dole Whip flavor is inspired by one of my favorite Disney Princesses, Rapunzel. This treat, the Lost Princess cone, is a purple cone filled with lemon Dole Whip and topped with edible flowers. You can find this at Storybook Treats at the Magic Kingdom. Why not grab this treat and head to the Tangled wall to grab a selfie?
The third new Dole Whip treat can be found at Aloha Isle, also at the Magic Kingdom. The chicken lives with this cone inspired by one of my favorite characters in Disney’s Moana. The Hei Hei Cone is a layer of pineapple Dole Whip and a layer of raspberry Dole Whip with Sugar-Piece Eyes and a piece of sour candy as the comb, all on top of a blue cone.
These are all great additions to the snack choices at the Magic Kingdom and I know every single one is on my snack list! The best part? If you are using the Disney Dining Plan, all of these are included as a snack, redeemable with a snack credit!
