Visit Disney Springs
Walt Disney World’s shopping and entertainment district, Disney Springs, is completely free! With over 100 shops, over 60 dining locations, and multiple activities, you’re sure to have a great time at Disney Springs. Now, it is not free to shop or eat at the locations, but there are some free activities! You can build your own LEGO designs at the LEGO Store, check out vibrant art displays at Disney Springs Art Walk: A Canvas of Expression, and enjoy live music throughout the district. Self-parking is free as well!
Resort Transportation
All of Disney World’s transportation is complimentary. Whether you are traveling to the parks or want to travel around the resort hotels, you can find multiple free options to get you there. The most common Disney transportation is the buses but you can also take a monorail, boat, or Skyliner!
Resort Hop
Speaking of traveling around the resort hotels, did you know you can visit any Disney World hotel even if you aren’t staying there? Resort hopping is a fun and free activity! Explore the different Disney hotels and experience the unique offerings each one has. This is especially fun during the holidays when select deluxe resorts go all out with decorations!
Movies Under the Stars
Looking for a fun, free, activity in the evenings? Many of the resort hotels offer “Movies Under the Stars”. Cozy up for a favorite Disney film shown outside in the fresh evening air. Whether you’re sitting poolside or surrounded by Floridian woodlands, enjoy relaxing evening entertainment that’s fun for the whole family!
Search for Hidden Mickeys
If you enjoy scavenger hunts, you can do this one for free! There are hidden Mickeys all over the Walt Disney World Resort. At the parks, the hotels, etc. Keep an eye out as you are enjoying the resort, or you can purchase a book all about the Hidden Mickeys.
Pin Trading
Getting pins for free at Disney World? Yep! I never thought much about pin trading at Walt Disney World but now my kids LOVE it! The best part is that it’s completely free. Bring your pins to the parks and keep an eye out for pin trading spots. Cast Members will have a display of available pins that you can trade for.
Become a Wilderness Explorer at Disney’s Animal Kingdom
At Disney’s Animal Kingdom you can follow in the footsteps of Russell from the Disney·Pixar film Up as you earn adventure badges around the park.
