To Attend The Christmas Party Or Not To Attend That Is the Question

When visiting Disney World, many want to see the icon of Magic Kingdom, the staple of many childhoods, Cinderella’s castle. Something about that sight brings a tear to many eyes. The only thing more special is when it is lit up in all it’s glory for the holidays. Another major thing during the holidays is holiday parties. Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is select dates throughout November and December. So when can you make sure you see the castle shimmer and shine?

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party (MVMCP) is a festive holiday special ticketed event. It officially kicks off at 7 pm until midnight. However, the park is closed to those not attending the party at 6 pm. This means if you don’t have that ticket, you won’t get the party band. So you basically get ‘kicked out’ as they start checking and escorting people to the gates to say “See Ya Real Soon”.

It is that time of the year when Elsa, Anna, Olaf and Kristoff will join you at Cinderella’s castle. Enjoy this special show “A Frozen Holiday Wish” each night throughout the season. Ending the show with Elsa presenting a gift to the whole kingdom by transforming the castle into an ice palace. The castle sparkles, glows and has a frozen look for the rest of the night. This show starts at 6:15 pm. So, can you see the castle light up? Yes. You can catch it on your way out. But to enjoy the show, the castle and kick off your holiday vacation playing at Magic Kingdom and enjoy the icy fun. I would go one a night that doesn’t have MVMCP or just attend the party. It is a beautiful sight.
