Why you should visit Discovery Cove when you are in Orlando
Orlando Florida is full of wonderful family attractions and theme parks. One you might not know about is Discovery Cove! Discovery Cove is an all-inclusive day resort where you can experience exciting animal encounters in a breathtaking tropical atmosphere. It’s also a sister park to SeaWorld. Here are some reasons why you should visit the next time you’re in Orlando.

Unlimited Food and Drinks
Included with your day pass is a fantastic buffet-style breakfast and lunch! You can also enjoy unlimited snacks and drinks throughout the day! For guests 21 and older, select beers and wines are also complimentary during your visit.
Lower Crowds
If you want a more relaxing experience with fewer people, visit Discovery Cove! The resort offers limited capacity with reservations typically made prior to your visit. Capacity is limited to 1,300 people per day to ensure a truly peaceful visit for all guests. Because of the lower capacity, various amenities and attractions are rarely crowded.

Pack Light!
When we visit the Orlando theme parks we usually have a bag full of essentials that we pack around all day. At Discovery Cove, a lot is already included in the cost of admission! Things like towels, snorkel gear, sunscreen and more are available to you so you don’t need to bring your own. Lockers are also included in the price of admission so if you do have any personal items you need to bring, you can safely stow them. All you really need to do is show up in your swimsuit with your ID!
So many activities!
There are so many things to do at Discovery Cove. Not only can you soak up the sun and swim with beautiful fish, but you can also get up close and personal with a variety of tropical birds! At The Grand Reef, you can swim and snorkel with thousands of tropical fish and even some rays. At Serenity Bay, you can enjoy a relaxing swim in the 85-degree pool or simply soak up the sun as you enjoy the sparkling serenity of this fabulous freshwater bay. There’s also Wind-Away River where you can ride soothing currents past sandy beaches, through a dense rain forest, beneath the rocky terrain of cascading waterfalls, and through an underwater cave. For a more dry experience, head to Explorer’s Aviary and watch hundreds of beautiful birds soar above and around you.
If you’d like even more amazing experiences at Discovery Cove, you can purchase upgrades like Seaventure, an underwater walking tour, Swim with Sharks, Flamingo Mingle, and Animal Trek, a private, behind-the-scenes tour, just to name a few!
