Question: Do I need tickets for Disney’s Candlelight Processional?
Answer: The only ticket you need to enjoy this seasonal event is a valid theme park admission to Epcot. In 2014, this special event runs from November 28 to December 30, and each night, a celebrity narrator recounts the biblical story of the savior’s birth, set to a soundtrack provided by an orchestra and choir. It is awe-inspiring and is a beautiful reminder of the true meaning for the holiday season.
This year, celebrities such as Jodi Benson, Neil Patrick Harris and Jonathan Groff have kicked off the event. Many more, including Ana Gasteyer and Blair Underwood, will be making appearances throughout the rest of the month.
The show takes place in World Showcase at the America Gardens Theatre each evening at 5:00pm, 6:45pm, and 8:15pm. The exception is December 7th, when the 5:00pm show will NOT take place. Attendance is on a first-come, first-served basis. All entertainment and celebrity narrators are also subject to change.
One way to guarantee a spot for this extravaganza is to book a Candlelight Processional Dining Package. The dining package features a 3-course meal or full buffet at participating restaurants around Epcot, for lunch or dinner. At the restaurant, you will receive a badge for VIP seating for the show you booked. Package prices generally run from $30-$60+ per adult, depending on the restaurant and meal chosen. There are also specific dining time slots you must adhere to depending on which show you would like to attend. If you are dining on the Dining or Deluxe Dining Plan, you are able to redeem 2 table service entitlements for this package.
