Hello Super Hero recruits! Avengers Campus is opening on June 4th at Disney California Adventure!
We are so excited about this new experience coming to the Disneyland Resort very soon and can’t wait to be able to enjoy it. Let’s take a tour for an inside look of this new attraction:
The main entrance to Avengers Campus will be located adjacent to the Worldwide Engineering Brigade (WEB), with the back entrance just outside of Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission Breakout.
You will also notice that Taneleer Tivan aka the Collector, placed his Fortress against its edges. This placement warped the ground surrounding the alien stronghold causing a cosmic disruption to ooze from the ground below. But one cool thing about it is that those hues of blue, purple and yellow glow in the daylight! Cool right?
At Terran Treats you will find a weird and wonderful menu of intergalactic eats. One of the best treats is the Sweet Spiral Ration Churros with unique and unexpected flavors!
Just around the corner you will find Pym Test Kitchen, a food innovation science lab where the food and drinks tell a story. Here you will find things like pretzels that grow and shrink as they pass through the quantum tunnel! The decor is also super cool, just look at the picture above!
At the heart of the land you will find the Avengers Headquarters, you might identify it for its emblematic Avengers “A”. Here you can catch a glimpse of the Avengers springing into action, ready to save the day!
The Ancient Sanctum is located nearby, once you get close you will feel like you are in another dimension. Here you will learn mysterious secrets from Doctor Strange and discover ancient, magical artifacts.
Look out for the Orb of Caglisotro, known to be especially active at night when it flows with magical energy!
And finally, at the front of the land you will find Stark Motors Factory built by Tony Stark’s father back in the 1940’s. This location was later transformed to Worldwide Engineering Brigade (WEB).
WEB is expressive, youthful and chaotic, as you notice, outside the former factory building there is a colorful graffiti mural created by young recruits with a knack for the arts. Do you think this will become a popular Disney wall? We’ll see!
So there you go, now you know a little bit more of Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure! Keep checking back for more updates!
