Royal Court Royal Tea Party

A Disney Cruise is a really spectacular family vacation and your kids will be treated like superstars throughout your voyage. They will have a blast in the kids’ clubs and on the pool deck. If you are looking to add on just one special, extra cost event to your cruise to enjoy WITH your kids, the Royal Court Royal Tea Party is truly over the top in every way!

What is the Royal Court Royal Tea Party?

The Royal Court Tea Party is a special event held on all four Disney ships. If you are traveling with a princess or prince between the ages of 3 and 12, you are invited to join in the fun. Hosted by Lady Chamomile and Chef Brule, this event combines a show with a light meal and a character greeting with some special Disney princesses.

How do I book the Royal Court Royal Tea Party?

The Royal Court Royal Tea Party needs to be booked in advance of your sailing. You will be able to reserve onboard activities as well as Port Adventures prior to your sail date. These dates vary based on your Castaway Club Level, how many times you have sailed with Disney Cruise Line in the past. You can book your activities online and it is highly recommended that you book the Royal Court Royal Tea Party as soon as possible after your booking window opens. It is a very popular activity and will sell out.

What is included in the Royal Court Royal Tea Party?

Your little princess or prince will be showered with gifts upon their arrival at the tea party. Princesses receive a Cinderella doll, tiara, jewelry box, bracelet, charm necklace, and an autograph book with pen. Princes receive a cinch sack, pins, autograph book with pen, Duffy the Disney Bear, and a sword and shield.

After you have boarded the ship but prior to the Royal Court Royal Tea party, you will be contacted by guest services and asked for your child’s favorite princess. When you are served at the party, your child will receive a beautiful cupcake decorated with their favorite princess. There is a light meal of finger sandwiches followed by delicious, tiny desserts. If your child is not interested in tea, they are more than happy to serve apple juice or another beverage in their cup.

After your event, a photo of your child with the princesses will be delivered to your stateroom. This is presented in a beautiful folio and makes a fantastic memento of your experience that you can bring home with you and display.

The Royal Court Royal Tea Party does come at a cost – the event is $279 for the first child and adult, and an additional $210 for each additional child and $69 for each additional adult. After attending the event with my daughter on our last cruise, I would highly recommend this activity as worth the cost. We left with gifts, photographs and memories that we will treasure forever.
