February sure is sweet at Walt Disney World this year! There are so many amazing new sweet treats available that you’ll want to try them all! I don’t know about you, but one of my favorite parts of visiting Walt Disney World is sinking my teeth into the many delicious and delectable treats they make available. On my most recent trip, it was all about purple potion so we made sure to try out the purple potion cake pop at the Main Street USA Confectionary in the Magic Kingdom!
This month though, Disney is stepping up their game with all of these incredible cakes, cupcakes and even cheesecake! Can you say YUM? So without further ado, here is Walt Disney World’s Sweet Treats for February!
First up at Epcot we have two different tasty treats: Sven’s Apple Cheesecake and an Artist Inspired cake! Sven’s Apple Cheesecake can be found at Kringla Bakeri og Kafe in the Norway Pavillion. This dome-shaped, apple-filled cheesecake is adorable, but make sure you keep it away from Sven! The Artist Inspired cake is special of the Epcot International Festival of the Arts! You can find this fun cake at Sunshine Seasons until the end of the festival on February 25th. This multicolored vanilla cake is covered with lots of different colors and is topped with a peanut butter buttercream. It even has a cute little edible paintbrush and palette on top! A dessert perfect for artists of all ages!
Next up we head to Disney’s Animal Kingdom! Here we can find the Purple Lotus Flower and Simba cupcakes. The beautiful Purple Lotus Flower cupcake is available at Creature Comforts and Restaurantosaurus. This is a yellow vanilla cupcake filled with strawberry mousse and topped with a purple buttercream lotus flower! The perfect cupcake for lovers of Rivers of Light and Purple Potion everything!
The Simba cupcake is a yellow vanilla flavor filled with a delicious white chocolate mousse and topped with buttercream. There is also an edible piece with Simba’s face surrounded by a mane of orange and yellow icing. This ferocious cupcake can be found at the Isle of Java and Pizzafari for anyone who just can’t wait to be king!
Leaving the parks, we head to Amorette’s Patisserie in Disney Springs. If you’ve never been there, I promise that you won’t want to miss this on your next trip! This pastry shop already makes amazing cakes and desserts, but the newest is their Mickey Premium Bar Dome Cake! One of my favorite treats to get when I visit Disney World is a Mickey Premium Ice Cream bar, so this new cake is definitely at the top of my must-try list now! This cake has fondant buttons and ears made of chocolate to look just like the ice cream bar. It’s incredible what they can do with cakes and I can’t wait to see what else they come up with.
Our next stop is Disney’s All-Star Music Resort, which is currently going through a renovation that you’ll want to check out. In the Intermission Food Court though, you’ll find the new Princess Aurora cupcake! This cupcake is vanilla with a cotton candy buttercream that’ll be available for the rest of February. Whether you prefer to make it pink or make it blue, this cupcake is definitely for you!
Let’s swim on over to our last stop that I purposely saved as this is my favorite sweet treat so far! Now available at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort in the Landscape of Flavors is the Mermaid Tail Cupcake! This vanilla cupcake is filled with pineapple compote and topped with coconut buttercream. The best part is the decorations which include crispy pearls, graham cracker crumbs, edible glitter, and a white chocolate mermaid tail! This cupcake needs to be a part of my world as soon as possible because I think it is the absolute cutest!
