Even though it seems the Florida temperatures didn’t quite get the memo, Fall is in full swing at Walt Disney World Resort! One of our favorite times of year has come alive around the park’s and there are fall treats to be found in every corner of the resort. We have rounded up some of the best to make sure that you don’t miss any of the spook-tacular fun!
Nobody does not so scary Halloween fun quite like the Magic Kingdom. There’s a delectable fall dish everywhere you turn! Our favorite though is the Candy Corn Milkshake! Made with candy corn ice cream and topped with cotton candy and (our favorite part) a Mickey-shaped marshmallow! With all of that goodness in one cup, what’s not to love? Unlike many of the Halloween treats being served up at Magic Kingdom right now, you can find this one all day long (not just at Mickeys Not So Scary Halloween Party)! If you can’t wait to give this interesting take on the classic candy a try head on over to Auntie Gravities Galactic Goodies!
Epcot is, unquestionably, Disneys crowning jewel when it comes to food. This season the treats are no different. At Le Cellier, they are offering up some savory autumnal flavors. Try the Autumn Poulet Rouge Roulade – cornbread stuffing with cranberries, golden raisins, pecans, sweet potato espuma, rainbow chard, and pecan vinaigrette or the
Brown Butter-Basted George’s Bank Scallops – pumpkin risotto, Brussels sprouts, fig and pomegranate slaw, red wine syrup, and pumpkin seed brittle.
Over at Sunshine Seasons indulge in the adorable Pumpkin Bundt Cake (available through Dec. 25).
For an extra special treat on Halloween only, grab a Monster’s Inc Cupcake- Chocolate cupcake with salted pretzel mousse filling and topped with buttercream and a chocolate cake ball decorated with fondant!
At Fountainview Plaza satisfy your sweet tooth with Halloween Cupcake. It’s a chocolate cupcake filled with chocolate mousse and topped with green and purple buttercream, a chocolate bat, and orange sprinkles that you’ve got to see to believe!
Spooky fall treats abound at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Get ready to sink your teeth into each of these frightfully delicious treats!
At Rosie’s All-American Café and ABC Commissary be sure to try the Peanut Butter and Chocolate Coffin Cake. It’s a coffin shaped cake with layers of peanut butter and chocolate and topped with Chocolate Ganache. While you’re there check out the Chocolate and Orange Cream Parfait too. Layers of orange cream and chocolate cake topped with creepy crawly gummy worms and a candy jack-o-lantern combine to make a parfait that is true…well, parfait! Both are available for $4.99.
As of those weren’t enough, head on over to the Trolley Car Café and fall into the delicious seasonal offerings. Try the Chocolate and Caramel Apple- a caramel apple wrapped in Chocolate Ganache! Or check out the Chocolate Cake – topped with [orange] chocolate mousse and chocolate Mickey ears! Pricing information for these fall treats were not available.
Jambo! At Animal Kingdom there are two seasonal ways to get in on the fun.
Over at the Isle of Java on Discovery Island pick up an Apple Cider Donut Hole. These amazing seasonal confections are sure to tickle your taste buds- freshly-fried donuts with diced apple pieces rolled in cinnamon sugar and topped with an apple cider glaze. These appley delights can be had for $4.99.
If you prefer a bit more fright in your bite, try the Halloween Cupcake. It’s a yellow cupcake filled with pumpkin mousse and topped with cinnamon buttercream, an edible Mickey ghost, and a fondant pumpkin. You can find these ghoulish delights at Creature Comforts, Pizzafari, and Restaurantosaurus for $4.99!
At Disney Springs things are getting Spirited this fall with delicious concoctions and candies!
Fly your broomsticks on into Jock Lindsay’s Hangar Bar so some wickedly delicious libations. The Forbidden Apple – spiced rum, sour apple pucker, cinnamon whiskey cranberry juice, and grenadine- packs quite a spicey punch!
For the little witches (and those preferring a non alcoholic sweet treat) try the Poison-Less Apple (Non-Alcoholic). It’s a dazzling combination of Sprite with caramel and Granny Smith apple.
To satisfy that monstrous sweet tooth head over to the Ganachery. Their handmade chocolates will put a spell on you for sure! Make sure you don’t miss Minnie Witch Piñata (a chocolate sphere filled with house-made marshmallows and crispy pearls and decorated with chocolate pieces), the Jack Skellington Piñata (a white chocolate sphere filled with house-made marshmallows and crispy pearls and decorated with chocolate pieces), Large and Small Chocolate Skulls,
The Cranberry Orange Ganache Squares (flavors of cranberry and orange blended with dark chocolate) or the Pumpkin Spice Latte Ganache Squares!
