This summer Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park is absolutely glowing! H2O Glow Nights returns for a second summer as the water park transforms into the ultimate glow party with fun food and beverages, character meet and greets and of course exciting attractions. Fans of Toy Story will delight in this lively after-hours party that takes its inspiration from the hilarious Toy Story short cartoon “Partysaurus Rex.” Let’s dive in and take a look to see why H2O Glow Nights is a must do this summer while visiting the Walt Disney World Resort.
Glowing Party Vibe –
During H2O Glow Nights, Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon transforms into a dazzling, bright beach party. Check out the water park in all its glowing glory with cool lighting effects. Break out your best dance moves at the DJ-hosted dance party on the beach (check out the neon hula hoops). The adults in the party can enjoy the adults-only area called “The Wharf” that has its own entertainment and bar.
Smaller Crowd Levels –
Since H2O Glow Nights is a special ticketed event, only a certain number of tickets are sold for each party night. This is great news! Smaller crowd levels mean shorter wait times. So, go ahead and enjoy the Crush ‘n’ Gusher or float down Castaway Creek without the hassle of the large crowds that are often there during daytime hours.
Toy Story Friends –
Take a break from the attractions and dance party to meet Woody, Buzz Lightyear and Jessie as you party the night away with your pals from Toy Story. You may even see an inflatable cameo from Forky, one of the new characters from “Toy Story 4” that’s coming out in theaters on June 21, 2019.
Delicious Food and Beverages-
H2O Glow Nights has some pretty spectacular food and beverage options that will delight all the foodies in the family. It’s hard to decide what to enjoy with choices that include the Western Beef Brisket, Pork and Chicken Kabobs, Chicken Noodle Salad, fish options and so much more! You can also try the Cheese Party Platter to share with your fellow party goers. No meal is complete without dessert and H2O Glow Nights has you covered with some fantastic sweet treats. Try the Bathtub Party Sundae that is served in a novelty bathtub dish and topped with chocolate rubber ducks. Or if you are more of a milkshake fan try Woody’s Rootin’ Tootin’ Milkshake which is a cotton candy milkshake served in a novelty Woody Boot and topped with … wait for it … edible glitter!
The beverage options are numerous and absolutely whimsical. Check out the Glowing Unicorn (non-alcoholic), a violet colada with a glow cube, rainbow whipped cream, edible shimmer glitter, and a twist candy lollipop … wow!!! Another non-alcoholic choice is the Buzz Blaster, which is Sprite and green apple popping pearls served with a Buzz Lightyear glow clip. For the adults (21 and over) in the party, there are plenty of tasty options including the Green Glowrita which is Tequila, Granny Smith Apple syrup, sour mix topped with rainbow popping pearls.
Perfect Way to Cool Off –
Cool off after a hot day in the theme parks at this after-hours beach party. Enjoy refreshing water attractions and frosty beverages as the sun sets the party fun begins.

Remember your brilliant night at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon H2O Glow Nights with exclusive merchandise created for the event. You can continue the glow party at home by purchasing artwork inspired for the event. Other items for purchase include a glow-in-the-dark T-shirt or a Tervis Tumbler. Some fun novelty items to take home from the party include a light-up popcorn bucket, an H2O Glow Night Light-up Souvenir Cup, Alien Light-up Souvenir Cup, Light-up Champagne Glass and of course Glow cubes.
Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon H2O Glow Nights runs on select nights from May 30th through August 24, 2019, from 8:00 pm to 11:00 pm, however guests with event tickets may arrive as early as 6:00 pm to enjoy the water park before the party begins. Tickets are $59 plus tax for each adult and $54 for each child plus tax (ages 3-9) if purchased in advance. If tickets are still available on the day of the event you may purchase them, however at an increased price of $69 plus tax for each adult and $64 for each child plus tax (ages 3-9). Children under 3 do not need a ticket.
