5.) Holiday shopping and décor throughout the Walt Disney World Resort

Starting in November, the Walt Disney World Resort comes alive with the spirit of the holidays! You will see the parks practically transformed overnight. Soon after, each of the resorts follows suit. It is always worth taking some time to visit a few of the resorts and look at the holiday décor!

Then, head to Disney Springs where you will find shopping, dining options, and more beautiful décor. The Christmas Tree Trail is a popular walking trail filled with various Disney-themed Christmas trees. From Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse to the Disney Princesses, and even the Haunted Mansion, there is a tree for everyone! If you see an ornament that you love, you are sure to find it in one of the shops. You are also sure to find gifts for everyone on your holiday list while browsing the many shops and stores, including those filled with various Disney merchandise.

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is opening at Disney’s Hollywood Studios later this summer, on August 29 but the holiday season is a great time to explore this all-new land!

In addition, Disney’s Hollywood Studios has beautiful holiday decorations and two fabulous nighttime shows that light the skies with festive cheer. “Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM” includes fireworks, music and more at the Chinese theater. On Sunset Boulevard, look for the Sunset Seasons Greetings show. This show features projections and laser effects on the Hollywood Tower Hotel, along with music, stories and “snow”.

2.) All-New Holiday Celebration at Disney’s Animal Kingdom

For the first time in the history of the park, Disney’s Animal Kingdom will have holiday festivities throughout the park. You can start at Discovery Island, where there will be a wonderful celebration of the winter season throughout the day and evening. Then, the Tree of Life will come to life with holiday music and projections.

There is holiday fun in each of the lands at Disney’s Animal Kingdom as well. Whether you are visiting Mickey and friends at Tusker House in Africa, learning about Diwali in Asia or dancing all night at the dance party in Dinoland, U.S.A, there is so much to do and see during the 2019 holiday season! 1.) Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and a BRAND-NEW Fireworks Show

In my opinion, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is worth doing at least once. There is so much fun to be had at these parties offered throughout the holiday season. Special characters appear throughout the park, festive treats are available for purchase at various locations, as well as for free to party-goers, and there are some great shows throughout the evening too. Don’t forget to stop and ask for special Magic Shots when you see one of the Disney PhotoPass photographers!

Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmastime Parade features so many of your favorite Disney characters and who doesn’t want to see it “snowing” along Main Street, U.S.A.? There is also the magical moment where Queen Elsa brings the castle to life with glittery ice!

This year, there will also be a brand-new fireworks show called Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks. This all-new show is sure to be a great addition to the already magical Christmas party!
