In the spirit of Disney’s “Incredible” Summer, guests visiting Epcot can enjoy a brand new stage show – with a Guardians of the Galaxy twist! Here’s 4 things you need to know about this new fun musical experience titled Guardians of the Galaxy – Awesome Mix Live!:
4. There’s a Backstory
Fans of the Guardians of the Galaxy movies know that Peter Quill (aka Star-Lord) can get himself into some tricky situations. The basis of this concert is no different. The story goes that after saving the world of Xandar from complete destruction, Quill made a deal with the Xandarian government to bring an outreach program to Earth that showcased Xandar’s unique culture. Guess where that program is officially housed? You guessed it – the home of world cultures – Epcot’s World Showcase!
3. You’ll love the Music
This live concert features music from the Guardians films – including hits from Awesome Mix Volumes 1 & 2. You can’t have much more fun than watching a few aliens jam out tunes from the 70s and 80s! Best of all, there’s plenty of space for your family to dance and groove to the beat!
2. There’s Plenty of Chances to Check it Out
The show, which debuted on June 9th and runs through August 19th, occurs 5 times daily at the America Gardens Theater at Epcot. Catch it at 1:30 PM, 2:30 PM, 5:30 PM, 6:45 PM, or 8:00 PM. Or be exceptionally wild and watch is all 5 times!

See Star-Lord and Gamora in person along with a 7-piece alien band. The costumes are fun, the music is lively, and the show is a great way for parents to sit back and relax while the kids dance off some energy. Plus, you might even spot Little Groot!
