There are a lot of little changes happening at some dining locations throughout the Walt Disney World Resort this week. Some locations are adjusting hours, some are reopening, and others have been added to the Mobile Order option on the My Disney Experience app. Let’s take a look at all of these changes.
Over in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, a few restaurants are adjusting their operating hours. Ronto Roasters in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge has been open 9:30 AM to 8:00 PM daily, but will start closing at 3:00 PM starting tomorrow, October 4th. PizzaRizzo was previously open until 6:30 PM but will now close at 5:00 PM. Backlot Express will be open until 5:00 PM instead of 4:00 PM.
In the Magic Kingdom area, some dining locations have reopened and/or have a reopening date. Joffrey’s Coffee and Tea Co. has reopened its location at the Transportation and Ticket Center with social distancing guidelines. Yesterday, Friar’s Nook in Fantasyland and the Spring Roll Cart in Adventureland both reopened. Additionally, the Lunching Pad over in Tomorrowland is scheduled to reopen on October 9.
Two restaurants have been added to the Mobile Order To-Go feature on the My Disney Experience app. The Wave of American Flavors at Disney’s Contemporary Resort and Kona Cafe at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort both now offer To-Go ordering. On the app, you will see the “to-go” option when you search for a restaurant. You’ll then be able to see the to-go menu, choose your pick up time, and place your order.
