While the Disney parks are closed and we are all stuck at home, we’ve been trying to find different ways to keep the magic alive. One of those ways is to plan a virtual Disney park day! So grab your Mickey Ears and read on to see how you can plan a virtual park day at home.
Mickey Shaped Foods
There’s no better way to start ANY day than with Mickey waffles! If you don’t have a Mickey waffle maker, you can make Mickey pancakes instead! Top them with syrup or strawberries and whipped cream. YUM!
Dress Up
Disney’s dress code and costume guidelines don’t apply at your home! Dress up as whatever character you want, wear your matching t-shirts and Mickey/Minnie Ears, or stay in your pjs. It’s totally up to you! If you have MagicBands, you can wear them too!
Atmosphere
Print off park maps and paper FastPasses and turn on Disney parks music while you plan out which rides and shows you want to experience during your park day. You can find Disney parks music on YouTube. I really like this one for Disneyland.
Ride Videos
There are a plethora of Disney park ride videos on the internet! I used to show them to my kids so they could decide if they wanted to ride the attraction once we were at the parks. Now they are great for bringing the magic and excitement of the rides into your home! Check out the list below for ride videos at each park.
